MIJO Team

MIJO and Digital Bodega teamed up for a two-day Carver Bank film shoot in Harlem. The production brought together Carver staff, local small business owners, Carver customers, and aspiring entrepreneurs, grounding the work in the people and communities the bank serves.
Director Luis Servera, executive producer Iasmel Vasquez, and cinematographer Jeremiah Overman led the production. Original New York City B-roll shot on Kodak film across three boroughs added texture and a layered, vibrant view of the city. The team worked with New York City-based educator Verta Maloney, who curated a class of aspiring entrepreneurs to bring their perspectives and ambitions into the story.
Edward Winter shot campaign portraiture featuring participants from the production alongside talent cast on the street. MIJO’s social content team was on hand throughout the shoot, developing and shooting spontaneous ideas for organic social.
The shoot created a library of content for Carver’s brand film, website, social channels, and product advertising.
